Blaenau Gwent has once again achieved its annual waste and recycling targets. A report presented to the Place Scrutiny Committee today showed that Blaenau Gwent has achieved a recycling rate of 66.71% , exceeding the Welsh Governments set target of 64%. This ranks Blaenau Gwent 成人大片 as 9th overall in Wales for 2022-23 compared to other Welsh Authorities.
Our recycling performance continues to support the 成人大片鈥檚 Corporate Plan in the priority of 鈥楻espond to the nature and climate crisis and enable connected communities鈥�, which is to increase the rate of recycling and achieve national targets. Overall the figures set out in the Waste and Recycling Performance Report 2022-23 are very promising for the future and on target to meet the 70% recycling figure, set for Local Authorities by Welsh Government by 2024-25.
