During First Minister鈥檚 questions yesterday, Alun Davies, Member of the Senedd for Blaenau Gwent, asked FM Mark Drakeford if he was committed to supporting the economic future of Blaenau Gwent post Covid-19. He also asked about the future of the Festival Park site in Ebbw Vale and other sites such as Rhyd-y-Blew and the Rassau Industrial Estate.

鈥淎s a local authority we want to work with the Welsh Government to realise the ambition and vision for the future of the borough. We also recognise it is going to be even more of a challenge post Covid-19. There is already lots of positive work going on locally in terms of regeneration with employment units being refurbished at Roseheyworth and new units under construction at the Works in partnership with Welsh Government, as well as major advances in infrastructure such as the Heads of the Valleys road .
